PART II — TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Agreement

By booking a trip or using the services of Reels Strike Charters, you (“Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.

2. Services Offered

Reels Strike Charters provides the following charter experiences, operating out of California:

• Fishing Trips — Full Day: Guided fishing excursions lasting approximately one full day.
• Fishing Trips — Overnight: Extended guided fishing excursions spanning one or more nights.
• Cruise Trips — Full Day: Scenic or leisure cruises lasting approximately one full day.
• Cruise Trips — Overnight: Extended cruise experiences spanning one or more nights.

3. Reservations and Bookings

All bookings are subject to availability. A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment as communicated by Reels Strike Charters at the time of booking. We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking at our discretion.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies will be communicated at the time of booking. In general:

• Cancellations made well in advance may be eligible for a full or partial refund.
• Cancellations made close to the departure date may result in forfeiture of the deposit or full payment.
• Reels Strike Charters reserves the right to cancel trips due to unsafe weather conditions, mechanical issues, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule or offer a credit.

5. Client Responsibilities

All clients are expected to:

• Arrive at the designated departure location on time. Late arrivals may result in forfeiture of the booking without refund.
• Follow all safety instructions provided by the captain and crew at all times.
• Disclose any medical conditions or physical limitations that may affect participation.
• Comply with all applicable fishing regulations, including valid fishing licenses where required.
• Treat other guests, crew members, and equipment with respect.

6. Alcohol and Conduct

The consumption of alcohol aboard our vessels is permitted in moderation. Reels Strike Charters reserves the right to refuse service or remove any guest whose conduct is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful, without refund.

7. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver

Fishing and boating activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to: rough sea conditions, seasickness, personal injury, and equipment hazards. By booking with Reels Strike Charters, you acknowledge these risks and agree to participate voluntarily.

 

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Reels Strike Charters, its owners, crew, and agents shall not be liable for any injury, illness, property damage, or loss arising from participation in our charter services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

8. Personal Belongings

Reels Strike Charters is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal belongings brought aboard. Clients are encouraged to leave valuables at home.

9. Photography and Media

By participating in our trips, you consent to being photographed or filmed for use in Reels Strike Charters’ marketing and social media materials. If you do not wish to appear in such media, please notify us in writing prior to your trip.

10. Fishing Regulations

All fishing activities conducted by Reels Strike Charters comply with applicable California Department of Fish and Wildlife regulations and federal maritime laws. Clients are responsible for obtaining any required individual fishing licenses. Our crew will provide guidance on applicable bag limits and regulations.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of California.

12. Modifications

Reels Strike Charters reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be made available upon request and will apply to all future bookings.
